Pathways to Family Success Mission: Establish a coalition of service agencies to provide a seamless system of support and literacy services to improve the quality of life for Lawrence residents.
In 2002, Lawrence was chosen as a site for one of the five Massachusetts Family Literacy Consortium(MFLC) pilot programs. These pilot programs, called Pathways to Family Success, work with teams of local residents and agencies, community and state representatives to develop collaborative models for the delivery of family literacy and support services to families in need. The Greater Lawrence Community Action Council, Inc. is the administrative and fiscal agent for the Lawrence Pathways to Family Success program.
