Provides assistance to consumers in resolving complaints related to products and services such as:
- Landlord/tenant disputes
- Automobiles new or used
- Builder/contractors
- Home repairs \ improvement
- Credit problems
- Telemarketing
- Any service or product related compliant
Education and Outreach
Provides consumer related educational outreach and referral
resources to schools, businesses and the general public.
Current Activities are:
- Provides free consumer related material
(pamphlets, flyers, copies of State and Federal Rules
and Regulations pertaining to Consumer Rights, etc.)
- Offers outreach to area schools, organizations and the general public.
Small Claims Court Assistance
Provides consumers with technical assistance when filing a compliant in Small Claims Court.
