The Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce recently honored the GLCAC, Inc. Head Start Program with it’s annual Small Business Award. The award recognizes Head Start’s work in support of children and family health that is a critical part of the comprehensive service model that the Program provides. Head Start staff continue to develop and execute new Health Awareness and Lifestyle initiatives for the clients they serve. The award was presented to Head Start Director Anne D’Errico at the Chamber’s Affairs-Health Care-Women in Business luncheon held at the Indian Ridge Country Club on June 3, 2009. This is the second such award for the Program, the first being given for their leadership in the Science and Discovery category in 2006. Kudos to the Head Start staff for their stellar performance!!
