Head Start
Teacher Infant/toddler (0 to 3 months) Pre-school (3 to 5 years) Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of a Child Development Associate credential appropriate to the age of children being served and a willingness to pursue higher education; or Associates /Baccalaureate Degree/Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education; plus meet current Office of DEEC staff requirements for position. (Teachers with CDA strongly encouraged to pursue Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education). Ability to read/write and express oneself in English (bilingual Spanish/English beneficial). Also required: use of car/means of transportation for home visiting. Must hold valid First Aid Certificate (CPR certificate also preferred).

Salary range $12.60/hr to $19.00/hr. 32 to 40 hours per week; 38 to 52 weeks per year (school and full year positions open)
Home Based Teacher/ Family Advocate for EHS/HS Combination (AR)

Qualifications:  Must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of a Child Development Associate credential appropriate to the age of children being served and a willingness to pursue higher education: Bachelors or Associates degree in child development, education, social sciences or related field. At least 2 years’ experience working with children and families in a human service setting. Capacities to problem solve, handle crisis, and work with families and children of various cultures from low-income backgrounds. Approach to working with families that is empathic, respectful, nonjudgmental, and professional. Willingness to work primarily in the homes of families residing in high-risk communities. Ability to read, and write and express oneself in English/Spanish required. Must be able to do verbal and written translations in both English and Spanish. Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication and supervisory skills. Must be able to relate positively to Head Start parents. Must hold a valid driver’s license and have means of transportation. Must have good computer skills. Need to be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings.

Salary range $12.50 TO $19.00 Master Degree

Intake Worker Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) with ability to speak, read and write well in both languages.    Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and telephone skills. 
Salary range: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour. Assistant Teachers    
Assistant Teacher Must be at least 21 years of age.  Must possess an EEC 1Services certificate of teacher qualifications for appropriate age group.  CDA (Child Development Associate) credential preferred.  Must have the ability to read, write and express oneself in English/Spanish.  37 to 40 hrs/wk. 

Salary range: $8.50 to $13.00.
Teacher Must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of a Child Development Associate credential appropriate to the age of children being served and a willingness to pursue higher education; or Associates/BS/Advanced Degree in Early Childhood Education; plus meet current EEC Services staff requirements for position. Ability to read/write and express oneself in English (bilingual English/Spanish beneficial).  Also required: use of car/means of transportation for home visiting.  33 to 40 hrs/wk, 41 to 52 wks/yr.

Salary range $13.00 to $17.00 per hour. 
Family Advocate

Minimum of High School diploma plus two years experience in Human Services field.  College level courses in Human Services preferred.   Must have the ability to maintain positive relationship and work effectively with low-income families from varying cultural backgrounds in a warm and respectful manner. Must have use of car/means of transportation and a valid driver’s license. 

Salary range $11.50 to $15.75 per/hr, 35 to 40 hrs/wk 44 to 52 wks/yr

Child Care Center
Full and Part Time Teacher and Assistant Teacher Part-Time Positions. Minimum 21 years of age must be able to work flexible hours and have experience working with young children. Must have a High School Diploma or GED. CDA, AA or higher degree in Early Childhood preferred. Must have the ability to express one-self, read, and write in English, be familiar with NAEYC appropriate practice and guidelines, be a team player and meet EEC requirements. Bilingual abilities, (English/Spanish or English /Vietnamese) beneficial.
Community Partnerships for Children Program
Interventionists B.A. level or higher in field (Special Education), DESE certified. Minimum of three years experience in primary grades or early childhood instruction. Proven ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively. Knowledge of scientifically based reading research. Knowledge of Breakthrough to Literacy/ SFA, preferred. Experience in analyzing data and planning next steps. Pre-employment CORI check.
Speech Therapists MA in Speech Therapy, ability to provide training and consultation to classroom staff, professional development, evaluations of children and some direct services for an average of 15 hrs a week. Pre-employment CORI check.
Special Needs Intergration Specialists (P/T) DESE Certified, ability to provide training to classroom staff and parents. Pre-employment CORI check.
